Under the Sea

These pictures were taken in the dunes under the water and on a cliff far away from the shore. On the cliff you can see the boat on the beach in the distance. This is a glitch only available to ps2 users I beleive. On the beach, on the far right side of Selbina, you can work your way through the trees on the left side and carefully work your way off the land.
After you are in the ocean you can run around and visit a cliff. You can also surprise people on the shore by coming out of the ocean on the otherside.
Kinda of neat. I beleive that the airship glitch to Kazham is only available to those on pc.

Creepy

I always feel like somebodys watching me...and I have no privacy. Whoa oh oh oh oh.

Changing my Template

I have been a little sick of the bright ass pink template I picked to begin with. The template also is not very easy to customize so my page might be a little messed up for a couple of days while I change and add/play with my info again. I am gonna start on it now since I just bought the expansion, Treasures of Aht Urghan, and appartently I am gonna be watching it download for the next hour or so. So I figured why not start on this while I wait. I am still trying to decide between two simple templates so it might be a day before I add my template info. The setup is different on both them as far as space and blogger really sucks on photo 'placement'. So I am trying to decide on a simple look that I like a lot or one that has more width space that I like almost as much.

Fantasy Plushes

Not everyone is into stuff animals or plushes but I really like 'em. I don't have a lot of them now but when I was a kid I preferred animals to dolls and had a ton of them. I even had a list of their names and slept with my favorite stuffed animal Peter, a patch color rabbit in pink, aqua, and blue, and rotated with the other animals from the list so the other animals wouldn't get mad and terrorize my main plush...ok, enough about me and my crazy self and back to these Final Fantasy cuties.
I don't have a lot of plushes now because there aren't many 'grown up' ones on the market. Square has put out some great Final Fantasy plushes by Namco and UFO. Unfortunately, the cutest plushes made by UFO in the last couple of years were mainly only available in Asian countries through crane-operated games in arcades and such. These came in three different sizes and the sizes were identified by a color tag system. The smallest tagged red, medium blue, and the largest green. These plushes I am talking about are the moggle, carbuncle, and a three-toned mandy. Of course, you can still occasionally find them listed on ebay and other sites but for a hefty price.

Easy to find on the market today are the Goblin, Chocobo, and the black Mandragora. Unfortunately, these plushes are small ranging from about 5-8 inches or 14-18 cm. There are some larger (above 8 inches) chocobo and mandies on ebay and other sites but the quantities are low. There was also at one time a large goblin but I only saw it listed on ebay. The seller stated that it was given away at the 2005 final fantasy convention to select persons. So I assume this is prolly one of the hardest to find.

The most recent line of plushes is easy to find in all sizes. These include the Tonberry, Tora Tiger, and Sabotender Cactuar (latest). I like the tiger the best for sleeping practicality but the Tonberry is the most beautifully detailed. These are being sold separately or in sets of 3 for pretty reasonable prices.

Here are some sites with final fantasy plushes and what they offer and price range (there are other and maybe more popular sites offering them but I am only listing the ones with the most reasonable pricing)

Fellowship Quest: My very own Elvaan Slave Boy (npc)

Gauldeval and me leveling in Qufim Island
I love my npc. I had him made to my specs through a pretty simple quest. He is cute, tall, and my very own elvaan slave. I enjoy going someplace with him and spending some quality time talking and giggling with him. Sometimes we drink hot cocoa in front of the fire in my mog and he always has mitrabobs cooking for me when I come through my mog door. The way he looks at me just tells me he really cares....hehe not really. My npc is more like a real man than I would like. He doesn't spend much time with me and doesn't really want to talk when we are together.

Hell, he prolly sleeps with my moogle when I am
away. My favorite line he give me is, "Lets not talk. We don't want to alert any enemies of our positon." or the popular, "Sometimes I just feel like being quiet." Hmmm. Would it hurt for him to say I look pretty when I hold my sword that way. Well, I guess I will take what I can get. I still really like him and even if he is my forced slave. I have the power in the relationship. I can make him sit in the moghouse for as long as I want or decide to have a mob kill him when he doesn't give me the attention I want.

Some info I have learned courting of my npc...
The NPC can be called forth once every 20 hours with a pearl that is equiped on the ear. The npc stays out longer the higher their level is. My npc stays out about 15 kills right now and his current level is 36. The npc starts at level 30 and can be leveled pretty quickly with a little patience. When I first started leveling the npc, I thought that the xp that he would receive was based on the the level the mobs were to me at my current level. So I would use a lower level job and solo with him but he would leave my side way too quickly for me. I had leveled with him numerous times and he never indicated that he had leveled. After a little time, I started asking around and found that you can use a higher job(mobs can be too weak to you) to level with him and just so long as the mobs are IT to his current level he will receive xp points accordingly. Also, you can target your npc and they will 'talk to you'. The npc will give you very standard sayings or sometimes share important info like if they are gonna level soon or if they are a caster they may say if they need to rest soon. Plus you can change the job type of your npc, by meeting with them in Ru'Lude Gardens, so as to avoid his untimely death when he vokes the mob(npc starts with voking ability). Once you enter from Lower Jeuno, just head to the first corner to the left and you will see a rendevous point. There you can 'talk' about the style and indictors you would like from him/her. After some leveling with your npc, talk with Luto in Lower Jueno and she will say that your npc has been shopping for a new weapon and that she will give it to him once you have picked one out. Just trade the weapon to her. Of course, there are certain weapons that will only be accepted, check the link below for more info on it. Also the type of weapon you choose will be the weapon skills available for your npc to use. I have found katana to be the best to get you started with skillchaining with your npc. I first started leveling my npc in Crawlers nest and then moved to Altepa Desert at about 34. I have been currently leveling my npc with others in Kuftal Tunnel. I get together with some friends and skill up on crabs and lizards. Sometimes people will even seek me out to level our npcs together. It seems it is easy to get facinated with your npc and want to show him or her off to others. I have posted some links I found helpful below. Happy NPCing!

Fighting Shadows

This picture is kinda of

old. I think we were

after my tele-vahzl scroll.

Check out Gesserit's ranger

damage (before the nerf)!

Alastor Antlion- Rostrum Pumps

Harsh! We got it down after the first two fights and I got my rostrum pumps. Too bad we lost two traps (which are needed to pop the NM) but sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get the plan down.
The trap is made with hq antlion jaws that are farmed in the Attohwa Chasm. The mobs that drop them spring out of cracks near this area when you walk over them without sneak. Thestalkmore crafted my trap for me (thanks). LS: NotoriousWeapon with the help of Patroklis (although I don't see him dead in the photo :wuss:)
Item Dropped:

The Tuesday Warriors!

Khellendros- pld., Patroklis- monk, Gesserit- rng and thf, Urick- sam, Teddy- rdm, and Hellkitty- whm (me)

NotoriousWeapon after Genbu

Ulli

Looks at these guys go! Just another static Tuesday. They make it fun. We have killed Ulli many times and gotten the crappy axe twice in addition to the stone.
The fight takes awhile but with a rdm casting gravity it makes it cake.

Za'Dha Adamantking

Kill: NotoriousWeapon Mob: Za'Dha Adamantking
Area: Qulan Dome
This was an awesome fight.
Dimension offered her death to pull this mob. We got a drop that had never been sold on Valefor although I didn't get it. One of the party members picked up and kept in their inventory a Raise 3 scroll during the fight. I was told that is the only way to get the drop. I could be wrong but hey we got it! :(

My first and second successful fenrir run. I decided on the Fenrir Torque for my reward after getting the avatar.

Habetrot

Patroklis and I fighting Habetrot in Temple of Uggalepih. NM is a lottery pop that is spawned with a stack of cabbages. The crawler drops twincoons which I used to make my liliac crosage that I have wanted ever since I first saw the useless but pretty head gear.
Update: I have also now made opaline hose from the threads too. Although I sold them to fund my clothcraft.
